Crossing the Line
Dublin, Ireland.
Bevelled glass tumblers, ink, pva, household detergents.
Capturing the fractures that emerge from social divides — the dysfunctional lines that run through communities - separating people by class, race, opportunity or identity. These rifts disrupt the natural balance of society, creating tension where there might otherwise be cohesion. It promotes the growth of imbalance - some rise while others are pushed down and the collective strength of society weakens under the weight of division.
