Seville celebrates some of the most striking architectural contrasts in history including - Moorish, Gothic and Renaissance facades together. However, sadly it also hosts the continuous presence of bullfighting. While this is an historic ‘sport’ steeped in ritual it is overwhelmingly violent. This work  forces us to ask how societies choose to honour their past: by celebrating art, knowledge and human achievement or by clinging to customs that glorify cruelty.
