Right up your Alley speaks to the ongoing closure of alleyways across Dublin—once vital passageways linking neighbourhoods, serving as routes for coal and milk deliveries and providing safe pathways for children on their way to school or play. These closures have disrupted long-standing patterns of neighbourly interaction and spontaneous community encounters leaving what was once vibrant shared spaces now cut off and forgotten. This work was inspired by story telling sessions with Ballybough community recalling childhood memories of local alleyways.
